Veteran funnyman STEVE MARTIN has ruled out a return to stand-up comedy.
The Father Of The Bride star has just co-written   children's book and is currently
filiming a  sequel to his Pink Panther film, and he insists he doesn't have the
time to immerse himself in the world of live  comedy.

Gosling had showed up to start work on “The Lovely Bones”  looking like he'd donned

China's Communist Party has unveiled the leadership line-up that will steer the country for the next five years. President Hu Jintao won a second term as party and army chief, while four new faces joined the party's top body, the Politburo Standing Committee.

November 2 Paramount will release “Bee Movie”, a Dreamworks Animation Comedy - Jerry Seinfeld’s first substantial work since his “Seinfeld” TV sitcom ended in 1998.

Seinfeld continues to perform stand-up comedy and has thrown his hat into the lucrative animated comedy realm as a writer and lead character voice with the release of Bee Movie in 2007.

George Clooney will become an executive board member of a new Swiss energy company.

The new company, which will develop environmentally friendly techniques for car motors, batteries and other devices, is aimed at reducing CO2-emissions in energy consumption.

In Portugal, adults completed secondary school benefited from a new system, supported by the
ESF, to certify non-formal learning. to this certification, the participants were able to situation or return to formal

In the Czech Republic, the ESF funds the so-called 'VIP Career' project, which helps school leavers get their first job.

The ESF supported people:

• enhancing skills,
• developing careers, and
• promoting entrepreneurship.

The ESF helps people – young and old – both in work and looking for a job. ESF stresses equality between women and men and the avoidance of all types of discrimination.

Making a difference:

Activities supported by the ESF have made a difference to many people's lives. ESF actions have developed
skills and job prospects. They have also helped find a better balance between work and family commitments.

ESF actions have supported women to enter new professions, advance in their careers, and return to work. They have assisted older workers – for example to finish studies or validate previous nonformal learning. in their careers, and return to work. ESF actions have also given a helping hand to young people just entering the job market.

ESF actions have improved access to training for all. These are just some of the areas where the ESF makes
a real difference to people's lives.

European still fall victim to poverty and exclusion. Despite rising growth in most EU countries, the figures are alarming poverty threatens 16 % of the population, one European in five lives in sub-standard housing, one in ten live in households where nobody works, and the proportion of early school leavers is over 15% Poverty and social exclusion are unacceptable in a Europe founded on the principle of solidarity.

The EU commission is therefore proposing a active inclusion strategy proper income support with a link to the labour market and better access to enabling social services. Social inclusion and participation in the labour market go hand in hand. People at the margins of society therefore have to be supported with sufficient resources and personalised employment and social services.

Hollywood superstar actor Will Smith to develop a new television comedy series.

The television show, titled "Uncle Rudy," is a half-hour comedy series that is one of a slew of projects Smith's Overbrook Entertainment is developing to be pitched to a number of networks.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Smith's Overbrook Entertainment is also developing "Hitch," a half-hour comedy/drama adapted from the hit 2005 romantic comedy of the same name. Smith will executive produce "Hitch" but will not star in the series.

"The Cipha" on BET in 2008. The animated series focuses on a group rappers with superpowers.

A show titled "Courage Crew" about a group of punk rockers is also being developed, based off of an idea by Smith's wife Jada-Pinkett.
